New Kali Linux Version 1.1.0 Released

After long time as we expected the newer and better version of Kali Linux was released on 9 February 2015. Lots of bugs fixed in the new release and lots of new tools are available in new release of Kali, and some other changes are also made in new release of Kali. Upgraded version is more versatile, flexible Linux distribution, rich with more useful security and penetration testing related features. Here is the list of some new changes made in new version of Kali Linux.

New Kali Linux Updates

Runs on Linux kernel 3.18
Some patches for Wireless injection attacks
New wireless drivers included in the package
NVIDIA Optimus hardware support
New Grub screens and Wallpapers
And many other updates.

You can DOWNLOAD the latest release of Kali Linux from there site here. New release is provided in both 32 bit and 64 bit CPU architecture. You can also download VMWare and ARM version of Kali Linux from Kali DOWNLOAD page.

Or you can also upgrade from older version to newer version by giving these commands in your already installed old Kali Linux terminal prompt

apt-get update

apt-get distupgrade
